Elisha Cuthbert

Elisha Ann Cuthbert was born on November 30, 1982, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She grew up in Greenfield Park, Quebec, with her parents, Patricia, a homemaker, and Kevin, an automotive design engineer, along with her two younger siblings. After graduating from Centennial Regional High School in 2000, she moved to Los Angeles at 17 to pursue an acting career.

Starting as a child model at the age of nine, Cuthbert made her early television appearances as a regular on the children's horror series Are You Afraid of the Dark? She also co-hosted the educational show Popular Mechanics for Kids in Montreal, an experience that included a visit to the White House. Her first feature film role came in 1997 with Dancing on the Moon, followed by appearances in Canadian films and television movies, including an award-winning performance in Lucky Girl in 2001.

After relocating to Hollywood, Cuthbert gained wider recognition playing Kim Bauer on the Fox series 24. She later took on a role in the ABC ensemble comedy Happy Endings as Alex Kerkovich. Over the course of her career, she has balanced work in both film and television while maintaining a presence in modeling. As of March 2026, she had over 790,000 followers on Instagram.
