Becky G first captured public attention in 2011 by posting cover videos of popular songs online. This exposure led to a record deal with Kemosabe Records, in partnership with RCA Records, after record producer Dr. Luke discovered her talent. She released her commercial debut single, "Becky from the Block," in 2013, followed by her first extended play, Play It Again. Collaborations with artists like Will. I Am, Cody Simpson, Cher Lloyd, and Pitbull helped establish her career, particularly with the track "Can't Get Enough," which reached number one on the Latin Rhythm Airplay chart in the US.
