Denise Laurel

Denise María Sanz Laurel, born on September 30, 1987, in the Philippines, is a Filipino actress and singer with Filipino and Spanish heritage. She comes from a family with notable political ties, being the granddaughter of former Vice President Salvador Laurel and great-granddaughter of former President José P. Laurel on her father's side. On her mother's side, she is descended from Don Francisco "Paco" Sanz, a former governor of Romblon and Palawan, and is also the great-grandniece of former President Manuel Roxas.

Laurel has built her career primarily through roles in various ABS-CBN television dramas. Some of her notable projects include the Precious Hearts Romances series Midnight Phantom and Kristine, as well as Dahil sa Pag-ibig, Annaliza, and Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita. Her talents extend beyond acting, as she was the grand winner of the second season of the Philippine edition of Your Face Sounds Familiar. She has been affiliated with Star Magic and previously worked with the GMA Network.
