Carmen Electra was born on April 20, 1972, in Sharonville, Ohio. She began her career in the early 1990s after moving to Minneapolis, where she launched her music career with the help of Prince, who produced her debut album released in 1993. Transitioning from music to modeling in 1996, Electra gained exposure through Playboy before relocating to Los Angeles to pursue acting.

Her breakthrough role came with the television series Baywatch (1997–1998), where she played Lani McKenzie. Around the same time, she hosted MTV’s dating show Singled Out and appeared in films such as American Vampire and Good Burger. Electra became known for roles in several parody comedies like Scary Movie (2000), its sequel Scary Movie 4 (2006), Date Movie (2006), Epic Movie (2007), and Meet the Spartans (2008). She also contributed voice work to the animated series Tripping the Rift in 2005.

In addition to acting, Electra has taken on roles as a dancer, notably performing with The Pussycat Dolls on VH1 Divas in 2004. Her career also includes producing and writing projects, as well as maintaining a social media presence with a substantial following. Over more than three decades in the entertainment industry, Carmen Electra has appeared in films, television, and magazines, balancing a variety of creative endeavors.
