Candice Swanepoel
Candice Swanepoel was born on October 20, 1988, in Mooi River, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Raised on a farm in a family of Afrikaner heritage, she attended St. Anne’s Diocesan College, a boarding school in Hilton, and practiced ballet as a child. Her modeling journey began at age 15 when she was discovered at a flea market in Durban. Shortly thereafter, she moved to Europe to develop her career in the fashion industry.
Over the years, Swanepoel built an extensive portfolio, working with notable modeling agencies such as Elite Model Management and Munich Models. She has appeared on numerous international magazine covers and editorials, including editions of Vogue, Elle, GQ, Harper’s Bazaar, and others. Her runway experience spans top fashion houses like Chanel, Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana, and Versace. In addition to editorial and runway work, she has been featured in advertising campaigns for brands such as Tom Ford, Givenchy, Ralph Lauren, and Nike.
