Bruna Marquezine

Bruna Marquezine, born Bruna Reis Maia on August 4, 1995, in Duque de Caxias, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is a Brazilian actress, filmmaker, and model. She began her career in television at the age of five, appearing in a commercial for the Military Police of São Paulo focused on suicide prevention. Her early work caught the attention of notable producers Manoel Carlos and Ricardo Waddington, which led to her television breakthrough.

In 2003, Marquezine made her debut in telenovelas with the role of Salete in "Mulheres Apaixonadas," a performance that brought her national recognition. That same year, she appeared in the film "Xuxa Abracadabra" as the character Maria. Since then, she has participated in various telenovelas and earned several awards, including the Troféu Imprensa and the Contigo Award! 2004.

Aside from her work in Brazilian television and film, Marquezine ventured into Hollywood with her role as Jenny Kord in the 2023 DC Universe film "Blue Beetle." She has also built a substantial online presence, amassing over 44 million followers on Instagram as of April 2026. Between 2012 and 2018, she was in a relationship with professional footballer Neymar.
