Aria Giovanni, born Cindy Renee Volk on November 3, 1977, in Long Beach, California, is a former adult model known for her work between 2000 and 2018. Raised mostly by her mother after her parents separated, she grew up in a family with Italian-American roots, alongside an older sister and a younger brother. Despite a challenging childhood that included early struggles with substance issues, Giovanni demonstrated academic strength, graduating high school early and pursuing biochemistry and English writing at the University of California, San Diego before leaving college.
